M SAAD BIN ARIF , Ph.D

I am Dr. M Saad Bin Arif, an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). My research focuses on Power Electronics, Renewable Energy Systems, and Energy Efficiency, with an emphasis on optimizing solar PV systems and developing novel circuit designs for Multilevel Inverters (MLI) to improve power system performance.

I earned my Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Power Systems and Drives from Aligarh Muslim University, followed by a PhD in Power Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. During my Ph.D., I worked on MLI circuit designs, and I was honored to receive recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, for my research contributions. Early in my career, I was fortunate to lead projects funded by both state and central government agencies, which allowed me to see the practical applications of my work.

I am deeply committed to advancing research in the fields of power electronics and renewable energy and am grateful for the opportunity to mentor graduate students at AMU. As a member of professional societies like IEEE, I enjoy collaborating with others in the field and learning from the collective knowledge of the global academic community.
